Exercises for people with hip and knee replacement

Although the new joint is more solid than the damaged one, it remains unstable since the muscles surrounding it were cut during surgery. They need to be exercised to regain strength and stability. The faster the patient starts walking, the lower the risk of atrophy.

Contraindications:

Avoid hip extension exercises.
